Apple Butter


Ingredients


  • 4-1/2 cups unsweetened applesauce
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup distilled vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon


Instructions


  • Preheat oven to 350° F.
  • Mix ingredients in a small roasting pan.
  • Bake until brown and thickened (approximately 2 hours), stirring occasionally during baking.
  • Pour into a sterile container and refrigerate or freeze for later use.
  • Enjoy!
